Visual communication is key

  • My parents tell me it was apparent at age 4 that I had a unique vision and looked at the world differently than most. Visual communication is part of my DNA, and I can not write sentences without drawing pictures with my words. Looking as the world this way can sometimes be a burden, but most often it is a joy and a gift.
  • My approach is therapist-oriented, in that I carefully LISTEN first. The design and illustrative development comes after thoughtful communication between client and designer.
  • I am a graduate of Temple's Tyler School of Art. I am fluent in Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, and Illustrator. My favorite projects are logo designs because they combine my very favorite aspects of design and illustration. I have a knack for organizing print information to create beautiful, informative small projects such as brochures, and the visionary ability necessary for large projects such as trade-show panels.  I've *earned my chops* at a magazine publishing company and then a busy Jenkintown PA graphic design studio before launching into being freelance designer and fine artist. The opportunity to work from home has been a joy and privilege.
  • My designs have won awards, but my biggest thrill is to solve problems, design work that is meaningful and beautiful, and enables clients stand out from their competitors. I create work I am proud of. I love what I do, and I think it shows.
